A spectacular re-enactment of Admiral Lord Nelson's grand, water-borne funeral procession took place on The Thames 200 years after The Battle of Trafalgar. A 40-strong flotilla of oared vessels made the journey from Greenwich to Westminster on 16th September 2005, retracing the route of his coffin. This was a rare opportunity to see The Thames alive and brimming with maritime life. This photograph was taken from The Isle of Dogs across the river from Greenwich, a view point which allowed Fergus to fully capture the grandeur and grace that is Royal Greenwich.
